Lynn Symansky and Donner “aka the Flying Deer” are spreading their wings and heading to the Pau CCI**** in France in October. Lynn brought Donner, a 10-year-old OTTB, up through the ranks since he was a five-year-old and the pair have had some amazing opportunities and successes along the way. The pair were the 2010 American Eventing Intermediate Champions in 2010, members of the gold medal Pan American Team, and this spring they won The Fork CIC*** and finished fifth at the Rolex Kentucky CCI****.
Donner was bred for racing at Dresden Farm, literally right around the corner from Lynn’s farm in Middleburg, VA. Following their great results this spring the pair are ready to take flight from their home in Virginia and head across the pond! Although they are the grateful recipients of the Jacqueline B. Mars Grant from the USET/USEF, Lynn owns Donner herself and covers all of his costs through her teaching and training business and the costs to compete abroad exceed the generous grant.
In an effort to raise money to help offset Donner’s costs, Lynn Symansky Equestrian is hosting an online auction which will run for the next week and will conclude at the August 17th BBQ at Handlen Farm in Middleburg, VA. Lynn’s amazing sponsors, friends, families, and supporters have gathered together to donate some awesome items to the auction that you are definitely going to want to get your hands on!
