Yvonne Lucas Training Session Contest
Advanced-level eventer Yvonne Lucas has generously donated a 3-day mini-camp for T3D aspirants (either '09 or '10). This includes: 3-4 night's board for their horse at Yvonne's Red Moon Farm, and one lesson a day: (day 1) dressage, (day 2) stadium, and (day 3) cross-country/ galloping/ steeplechase (off-site). In addition, you'll be discussing theory, riding strategy, conditioning, calculating minute markers, riding roads & tracks, horse care, etc.
Yvonne will provide stall/straw bedding/turnout. Winner would be responsible for hauling the horse, hay and grain, and their own accommodations, etc. Winner would have the possibility of riding other horses at my farm in addition to their own at no additional cost.

Send in a short (500 words or less) essay describing why the T3D is an important goal for you and why training with Yvonne for 3 days will help you achieve your goal. While not mandatory, a $25 application donation to the T3D is appreciated. Checks can be made out to "Area II Adult Riders" and mailed to the address above. OR you can make a $50 donation and receive a "half-jump" sponsorship.

The winner will be announced on August 31st. The winner can choose to utilize this at any time before the '10 T3D.
