The Area II Annual Meeting and Year End Awards Luncheon will be taking place on Saturday January 25, 2014, at the Best Western in Leesburg, VA. The price has once again been reduced for both the meeting and the awards luncheon this year in order for the membership to take advantage of both the speakers and the forums to not only increase your equine knowledge but to also participate in the planning and development of Area II!
The discussion forums include Adult Riders and Young Riders, the Rules Forum to discuss the new rules instituted along with the Council Meeting and Organizer’s Meeting which are open to all of the members of Area II. Our luncheon speakers this year are the very funny and knowledgeable Dom and Jimmie Schramm who will bring their popular Evention video series to life.
Other speakers include Ann Baumgardner, PhD who will discuss the emotional and mental preparation of competing, a discussion on saddle fitting, and a veterinary presentation on joint disease and new therapies. Other speakers are still in the planning stages and will be announced as they are confirmed. The Awards Luncheon will provide a delicious buffet for all attendees and Awards Winners to celebrate successes and make new friends.
