YRAP is an educational program designed for riders under 21 years of age who are riding at the beginner novice to training level, or for those at the preliminary level who are preparing to move up to the Young Rider (NAYRC) program.

The United States Eventing Association (USEA) created the Young Rider Advancement Program (YRAP) in 2001 as a sub-program of the successful Young Riders program (YR). The national program description and mission statement can be found on the USEA web site by following the links above

DRPC YRAP Team Challenge

posted 7/31/08

Difficult Run Horse Trials and Area II YRAP have joined up to host the second annual YRAP TEAM CHALLENGE! The team competition is for junior riders and is modeled after the adult team competition. The kids have loads of fun naming their teams and dressing up for cross-country.

It is easy to form a team. On a sheet of paper along with your entry write down your team name and your team members (3-4). Your Team must be of the same level and you must be a member of YRAP.

You may form your team and join call Karen Mahaffey at 919-499-3734 or visit drpc.ponyclub.org.

See Ya There!
