Optimum Times Area II Newsletter

Optimum Times is produced quarterly, and is full of information you can use as an eventer in Area II. Currently it is mailed, via the US Postal service, to current USEA members in our area (averaging around 4,000 people). We also offer PDF downloads of the newsletter (links to the right).

Hey! Did you know…

It costs the Area Treasury about $12,000 every year to print and mail the newsletter you are reading? Does that sound as outlandish to you as it does to me? Let’s consider for a moment, what $12,000 could be used for. The annual meeting could be FREE for the first 150 or so attendees. We could pay to ship the entire NAJYRC ** team to Colorado. We could hold 4 clinics with Kim Severson, and not charge for them. We could probably pay for the entire Training Three day. We could fund some AWESOME year end wards or perhaps offer scholarships for training or ICP certification. Not to mention all the trees we would save! Do you see where I’m going here?

We would like to know if you would be willing to have the Optimum Times delivered by email or if you would read it on the website instead of having it mailed to you. Another bonus of electronic distribution would be to send timely reminders or important breaking news. Not that we want to clutter your inbox anymore than it already is. And, of course, we would never share your email with anyone without your express permission.

Please give serious consideration to the possibility of electronic distribution of the newsletter. Watch for more info on how you can opt into a cheaper, greener newsletter! Cast your vote through our simple poll. Just indicate your preference below:
