Full care Retirement or Layup board at Buttonwood Farm in Gordonsville, VirginiaMy goals are a happy retirement for your horse and peace of mind for you.
Mares or geldings welcome.
Your horse will be turned out in a grassy field with one or two other horses, this field has an automatic waterer with 10' x15' run-in shed and 3 board oak fencing.
Quality hay and feed are included, and feed will be soaked to avoid choke or colic. Feed will include any supplements and medications provided by owner. Salt blocks provided.
I will coordinate and hold your horse for services, such as the farrier and vet. Will blanket or fly sheet, and fly spray as provided by owner, daily skin care check, and will pick hooves.
Pasture board: $350 per month, Stall board: $500 per month
Owner lives onsite. A boarding agreement is required, and electronic payment (Venmo, Zelle, PayPal) is preferred.
