Aug 30 - Sep 3
I know many folks have been asking and I apologize for the delay. I wanted to be sure we got our facts straight before disseminating the information since there have been some rule changes this year.
This year you must be entered in the AEC's in the Rider or Amateur divisions and must meet AEC qualifications. If you are entered in the Horse division you are not eligible to ride on an ATC team. We are working with the folks at Tryon this year to consolidate our ATC teams into the same barns. For those of you who went last year, you know that the barns are quite spread out, as is everything at Tryon. To review all things ATC and qualifying requirements visit the ATC page.
Several folks have already contacted me wanting to be on a team and I have your information entered in my database. As I am coordinating teams for all areas I will be sure to find you a team if you don't have one. As an area we are limited to two teams at each level (32 riders). We did send a few extra folks last year to help fill in the gaps on other area teams. Please let me know ASAP if you have entered and wish to be on a team or if you already have team members.
For those not going to Tryon we will still have the Area ATC at VAHT in the Fall and promise lots of fun so don't despair!
Please let me know if you have additional questions and I'll be sending updates over the next few weeks as well. Good luck to everyone AEC/ATC bound!
