This auction is for a two-day clinic space for one horse/rider, graciously donated by Richard for his NE MD clinic, June 2-3. Richard is well known and well liked for his expertise and ability to create confident, balanced riders and happy horses! Ask anyone who rides with him! "It's not just talent that makes you a good rider, but also persistence, feel and the self-awareness to recognize your progress. In riding you have to focus on what you want to happen instead of on what you are afraid might happen.... If a horse or a rider don't understand something, it is my job to rephrase the question being asked so it makes sense to one and/or the other. It is our job as trainers/riders to make the process easier, not harder, for our horses on the flat and over fences. When riders are open to learn, I'll help them get to where they want to go.... Since people learn in different ways, I try to choose the way that works best for each individual horse and/or rider.... I sometimes think of my job more as a translator or facilitator between the horse and rider than as an instructor." Additional ring or XC course fees not included. For more information, contact Denise Maillie, (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) who organizes his NE Maryland clinics, at  or check out his website, www.ridinginbalance.com.  Many thanks to Richard for his gift. Please bid!
